This specimen was lot 71463 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2018), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 20 Kopeks, 1858-CΠБ ΦБ. NGC MS-63. Sharply struck with soft satin luster and just a light veneer of tone." This type was struck 1832-58. The twenty kopeks was reduced in weight to 3.6 g, 0.500 fine in 1867 and struck in that form until 1893. The light weight twenty kopeks is much more common than this type. Initials ФБ stand for mintmaster Fedor Blum.

Recorded mintage: 4,150,000.

Specification: 4.14 g, 0.868 fine silver, 22 mm diameter, obliquely reeded edge.
