This specimen was lot 32250 in Heritage sale 3067 (Long Beach, September 2018), where it sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "Russia: Alexander II Kopeck 1858 MS64 Red PCGS, Warsaw mint. Narrow monogram. Obv. Crowned monogram. Rev. Crowned date and value. Full original red mint luster, with sharply defined details. Only light marks are visible. Very scarce in such Choice condition and the single finest example certified by PCGS and NGC combined." This type was struck at Warsaw (shown here) and at Ekaterinburg (more common) 1855-59.
