This specimen was lot 1582 in Stacks-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $4,406.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Ruble, 1858-CNBOB. NGC MS-63. Sharply struck. Toned." This type was struck 1832-58 for Nicholas I and Alexander II. This is a better date.
Recorded mintage: 570,000 plus proofs.
