This specimen was lot 2179 in Goldberg's NY International sale 59 (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $252. The catalog description[1] noted, "Kopeck 1863 BM. Warsaw. Authenticated and graded by NGC AU 55 BN (# 6349513-015). Milk chocolate-brown. About uncirculated." This type was struck at Ekaterinburg 1859-67 and Warsaw (shown here) 1861-64 and is common, altho the Warsaw issue is the scarcer. The specification given here is from Numista; the 4 g standard in the SCWC is wrong.

Recorded mintage: 2,854,000.

Specification: 5.12 g, copper, 23.15 mm diameter.
