This specimen was lot 1217 in Sincona sale 93 (Zürich, October 2024), where it sold for 100 CHF (about US$139 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUSSLAND Kaiserreich und Föderation, Alexander II. 1855-1881, 5 Kopecks 1863, Ekaterinburg Mint, EM. Sehr schön-vorzüglich, Leicht gereinigt, Very Fine-Extremely Fine, Lightly cleaned."
This is listed as a common date of a type issued 1858-67. The copper five kopeks was reduced to 16.38 g in 1867 and terminated in 1881. In the 1860's, the regime struck this denomination in silver (KM Y19.2) and copper (shown here).
