This specimen was lot 2120 in Goldberg's NY International sale 59 (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $1,920. The catalog description[1] noted, "5 Roubles 1830 CПБ-ПД. GOLD. Small rim tap and some obverse contact marks. Extremely fine." This type was struck 1826-31 for tsar Nicholas I and is scarce.
Recorded mintage: 490,000.
