This specimen was lot 1729 in Sincona sale 63 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 100 CHF (about US$125 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA | Russian Empire and Federation | Peter I. 1682-1725. Kopeck 1707, Naberezhny Mint, BK. Rare. Fine-very fine." The Naberezhny Mint struck kopeks 1704-18 with the БК mintmark shown here. This coin is dated using Cyrillic letters, a habit dropped about 1720 for Arabic numbers.
