Regensburg 1753 heller

from the Stack's Bowers 2022 Collector's Choice sale, lot 73785

This specimen was lot 73785 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2022), where it sold for $120. The catalog description^[1] noted, "GERMANY. Regensburg. Heller, 1753. Franz Stephan. NGC MS-64 Brown. A very crisply struck uniface coin, very pleasing for the type, with dark brown patina throughout." This type was struck 1709-93. The SCWC prices all the dates the same, which likely reflects lack of interest rather than all the dates being equally scarce.
