This specimen was lot 1121 in Stephen Album internet sale 28 (Santa Rosa, CA, July 2024), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "PORTUGAL: Luis I, 1861-1889, AE 20 reis, 1885, a wonderful example, PCGS graded MS64 RB." This type was struck 1882-86 and is common in lightly circulated condtion. It is the first type struck to the reduced weight. This example realized over six times the catalog value.
