This specimen was lot 1481 in Stacks-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $493.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "PORTUGAL. Tostao, ND (1502-57). Porto Mint. João III (1521-57). PCGS Genuine--Cleaning, EF Details. RARE." Like many early Portuguese coins, this specimen is not dated, and can only be attributed to ruler.
