This type was struck 1957, 1961-85 as the communist regime in Poland slowly deteriorated under foreign debt and internal unrest. Some were struck at Kremnica in 1973 but the rest were made in Warsaw. Most dates are common. The denomination was terminated in 1985, inflation having rendered it worthless.
