This specimen was lot 23145 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $329. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND. 2,000 Zlotych, 1979-MW. NGC PROOF-68 ULTRA CAMEO. Maria Curie. Hard mirror fields with frosted cameo devices. From the Vincent Alones Collection." This denomination was used to strike gold NCLT's 1977-89 with this weight standard used until 1981.
