This 25 piso was struck by the Franklin Mint to honor Emilio Aguinaldo, hero of war for Philippines independence. It was hoarded and is common today. The currency was reformed in 1967 and all the World War era coinage struck in the USA was demonetized.

Recorded mintage: 10,000 in matte finish, 5,875 in brilliant finish and 37,000 proofs.

Specification: 25 g, 0.500 fine silver, 38.3 mm diameter.
