Shown is an 1837Zs-OM 4 reales, one of a type struck at the Zacatecas mint for Mexico 1830-1870. Assayer OM is recorded for 1830-56. Ten mints (Mexico City, Guanajuato, Zacatecas, Potosi, Oaxaca, Hermosillo, Real del Catorce, Guadalupe y Calvo, Guadalajara and Culiacan) struck this type of which Zacatecas is tied with Guanajuato as the commonest mint. This particular date is slightly scarce.
