The specimen shown is one of a series struck 1833-64 at Durango. Long[1] notes this date as the commonest for the mint. All known specimens are either 1836/4 or 1836/1 and feature the "French" style eagle unique to the Durango mint.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 1.69 g, 0.875 fine gold, .047 troy oz AGW.
