This specimen was lot 55575 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Hannover. 4 Mariengroschen, 1708-HB. Clausthal Mint. Georg I Ludwig (future George I of Great Britain). PCGS AU-53. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." Four mariengroschen was one ninth of a thaler or one sixth of a gulden.
