This specimen was lot 37044 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $145. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 1/2 Groat (2 Pence), ND (1631-32). London Mint; mm: Rose. Charles I. PCGS VF-30. From the Richard August Collection." This halfgroat was struck by Charles I at the beginning of the period he was attempting to rule without Parliament.
