This specimen was lot 37037 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 6 Pence, ND (1631-32). London Mint; mm: Rose. Charles I. PCGS VF-35. Group C. From the Richard August Collection." This sixpence was struck by Charles I at the beginning of the period he was attempting to rule without Parliament.
