Stack's Bowers 2025 NYINC sale, lot 37045

This specimen was lot 37045 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $125. The catalog description^[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 1/2 Groat (2 Pence), ND (1632-33). London Mint; mm: Harp. Charles I. PCGS EF-40. From the Richard August Collection." This halfgroat was struck by Charles I at the beginning of the period he was attempting to rule without Parliament.
