Stack's Bowers 2025 NYINC sale, lot 37036

This specimen was lot 37036 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $660. The catalog description^[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 6 Pence, ND (1630-31). London Mint; mm: Plume. Charles I. PCGS AU-50. Group C. From the Richard August Collection." This sixpence was struck by Charles I at the beginning of the period he was attempting to rule without Parliament.
