This specimen was lot 31204 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2022), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 1/2 Crown, ND (1630-31). London Mint; mm: plume. Charles I. PCGS VF-30. Group 2, type 2a. Obverse: Charles, holding sword and reins, riding caparisoned horse trotting left; Reverse: Garnished oval coat-of-arms; above, lis between C-R. Moderately handled and struck on a somewhat irregular flan, but still pleasantly toned and entirely original." The SCWC lists over forty different undated half crowns for Charles I, a side effect of the Civil War.
