Sincona sale 20, lot 3403

This specimen was lot 3403 in Sincona sale 20 (Zürich, October 2014), where it sold for CHF 600 (about US$752 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "15 Schillinge 1807. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (very fine to extremely fine.)" This rare type is known for 1806-07, 1811-14. Fifteen schilling was forty five rappen; one hundred rappen made a frank.

Recorded mintage: 7,067 for all dates.
