Sincona sale 70, lot 3384

This specimen was lot 3384 in Sincona sale 70 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 1,100 CHF (about US$1,460 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SWITZERLAND | Glarus | misc. 15 Schillinge 1806, Glarus. Vorzüglich. (Switzerland, canton of Glarus, fifteen schillings of 1806, Glarus mint. Extremely fine.)"

This rare type is known for 1806-07, 1811-14. Fifteen schilling was forty five rappen; one hundred rappen made a frank.

Reported Mintage: 7,067 for entire type (1806-14).

Specification: silver, this specimen 4.08 g.
