Steve Album Auction 55, lot 2872

This specimen was lot 2872 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $450. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY: Weimar Republic, AR 3 mark, 1924-E, a superb lustrous example! PCGS graded MS65." This type was struck 1924-25 from all six mints. This one, mintmarked "E", is from Muldenhutten.

Recorded mintage: 3,353,000 plus 115 proofs.

Specification: 15 g, 0.500 fine silver, 30 mm diameter.
