This specimen was lot 1254 in Stephen Album sale 32 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2018), where it sold for $141. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY: Weimar Republic, AR mark, 1924-G, PCGS graded MS65, ex Don Erickson Collection." The rentenmark and its subdivision the rentenpfennig were used 1923-24. Many issues minted during that time are today rare altho this type is only scarce. This denomination was superseded by a one mark (KM 44) struck 1925-27.

Recorded mintage: 10,065,000, a better date.

Specification: 5 g, 0.500 fine silver, 23 mm diameter, decorated edge, engraved by Reinhard Kullrich.
