This specimen was lot 38435 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $192. The catalog description^[1] noted, "GERMANY. Weimar Republic. 3 Mark, 1925-D. Munich Mint. PCGS MS-64. Struck to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of the Rhineland as part of Germany."

Recorded mintage: 1,123,000 plus proofs.
