This specimen was lot 70624 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, February 2020), where it sold for $408. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Weimar Republic. Mark, 1926-G. Karlsruhe Mint. PCGS PROOF-65 Deep Cameo Gold Shield. A superior proof example of a fairly scarce type struck 1925-27." This is a rare proof of an otherwise common type struck 1925-27. When coinage of the reichsmark resumed in 1933, it was a nickel coin.

Specification: 5 g, 0.900 fine silver, 0.080 troy oz ASW.
