This specimen was lot 4216 in Künker sale 264 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €650 (about US$840 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"1 Reichsmark 1927, A. Sehr selten, besonders in dieser Erhaltung. Fast Stempelglanz. (Germany, Weimar republic, one reichsmark of 1927, very rare in this grade, choice uncirculated.)"
This is a rare date of an otherwise common type struck 1925-27. When coinage of the reichsmark resumed in 1933, it was a nickel coin.
Recorded mintage: 364,000.
Specification: 5 g, 0.500 fine silver.
