This specimen was lot 34177 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $2,400. The catalog description[1] noted, "FRANCE. Empire. Franc, 1813-Q. Perpignan Mint. Napoleon I. PCGS MS-63. Handsomely struck and preserved, this enchantingly Choice minor provides a golden-gray tone and stands as the only representative of the date and mint in the PCGS census. From the Richard Margolis Collection (acquired from Bourgey in 1987 for $206). Ex: Émile Bourgey FPL (9/1987) Lot # 220."
