This specimen was lot 10250 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €528 (about US$550). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 2 Skilling, 1667. Copenhagen Mint. Frederik III. NGC AU-58. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1667 and 1669 in numerous varieties (KM 249, KM 281, KM 282.1, KM 282.2 and KM 283). This one is distinguished by the ornate shield on the obverse. The mintmark is a clasp. Two skilling was 1/48 speciedaler.
