This specimen was lot 10247 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €336 (about US$350). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Krone, 1667-GK. Copenhagen Mint. Frederik III. NGC AU Details--Cleaned. Scarce type. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type is noted for 1667 and 1669 and is distinguished by the lack of mintmaster's initials. It is one of several kroner (KM 273.2, KM 274/Dav-3581, KM 285/Dav-3581B (shown here) and KM 276/Dav-3582) issued that year. None are common. A krone was four mark or two-thirds speciedaler.
