This specimen was lot 4182 in Künker sale 441 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €7,500 (about US$10,318 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRAUNSCHWEIG-CALENBERG-HANNOVER, AB 1692 KURFÜRSTENTUM HANNOVER, AB 1815 KÖNIGREICH HANNOVER Johann Friedrich, 1665-1679. Reichstaler 1674, Clausthal. Ausbeute der Grube St. Andreas. Von großer Seltenheit. Feine Patina, winz. Schrötlingsfehler am Rand, sehr schön. Exemplar der Sammlung Dr. Friedrich-Karl Günther. (duchy of Brunswick-Lüneburg-Calenberg, John Frederick, 1665-79, thaler of 1674, Clausthal mint, for the St. Andrew mine. Extremely rare, fine patina, edge cracks, very fine.)"

Johann Friedrich ruled in Calenberg 1665-79 and never ruled in Celle. He shocked his family by converting to Roman Catholicism in 1651.
