This specimen was lot 5158 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €650 (about US$840 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG-CALENBERG-HANNOVER, Johann Friedrich, 1665-1679. Reichstaler 1673, Zellerfeld. Feine Patina, sehr schön-vorzüglich. (duchy of Brunswick-Luneburg-Calenberg, John Frederick, 1665-79, thaler of 1673, Zellerfeld mint. Fine patina, very fine to extremely fine.)"
This "wild man" thaler was struck 1670-75 and is not listed as rare.
