This specimen was lot 125 in Sincona sale 69 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 300 CHF (about US$398 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND | Brandenburg / Prussia. Friedrich III. (I.), 1688-1713. 2/3 Taler 1698 HFH, Magdeburg. Büste im antiken Harnisch. Vorzüglich. (Germany, electorate of Brandenburg, Frederick III, 1688-1713, two-thirds thaler of 1698, Magdeburg mint. Bust in antique harness. Extremely fine.)"
This type was struck at Magdeburg 1698-1700. Berlin also struck gulden at this time.
