The first specimen was lot 4852 in Künker sale 441 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €2,600 (about US$3,577 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Maria Theresia, 1740-1780. Konv.-Taler 1759, Prag. Ausbeute der Joachimstaler Gruben. Münzmeister Paul Erdmann von Schwingerschuh. Seltener Jahrgang. Hübsche Patina, sehr schön-vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung eines sächsischen Naturwissenschaftlers. (Holy Roman Empire, Maria Theresia, 1740-80, convention thaler of 1759, Prague mint, for the Joachimsthal mine. Rare date, fine patina, very fine to extremely fine.)"

The second specimen was lot 4853 in the same sale, where it sold for €1,800 (about US$2,476 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Maria Theresia, 1740-1780. Konv.-Taler 1759, Prag. Ausbeute der Joachimstaler Gruben. Münzmeister Paul Erdmann von Schwingerschuh. Seltener Jahrgang. Feine Patina, berieben, sehr schön-vorzüglich. Exemplar der Sammlung Gunther Hahn, Berlin. (Holy Roman Empire, Maria Theresia, 1740-80, convention thaler of 1759, Prague mint, for the Joachimsthal mine. Rare date, fine patina, polished, very fine to extremely fine.)"

This type was struck 1758-59 and is somewhat scarce. Bohemian thalers for 1759 include KM 750/Dav-1136, KM 765/Dav-1136A, KM 787/Dav-1137 (shown here). Compared to the Brunswick states and Saxony, Austria issued few mining thalers. After 1765, the veiled bust of Maria Theresia was used.
