Sincona sale 9, lot 5177

This specimen was lot 5177 in Sincona sale 9 (Zürich, October 2012), where it sold for 425 CHF (about US$538 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Basel - Taler 1622. Gutes sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Basel, thaler of 1622. Good very fine.)"

The SCWC notes this type for 1622 only altho a 1621 exists.
