This specimen was lot 4219 in Sincona sale 39 (Zürich, May 2017), where it sold for 225 CHF (about US$270 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"AUSTRIA, Franz Joseph I. 1848-1916 20 Kreuzer 1856 A. Wien. FDC. (empire of Austria, Francis Joseph I, 1848-1916, twenty kreuzer of 1856, Vienna mint, Uncirculated.)"
This type was struck 1852-56 at four mints and is common. Older types were 6.68 g, 0.583 fine, but contained the same amount of silver.
Recorded mintage: unknown but a better date.
Specification: 4.32 g, 0.900 fine silver, .125 troy oz ASW, 22 mm diameter, this specimen 4.32 g.
