Obverse: laureate head right; reverse: Burgundian cross between three crowns, decorated with the jewels of the Golden Fleece. Edge defect, very fine to extremely fine.)"

Altho the couronne or kronenthaler is often filed under the Austrian Netherlands, it was struck all over the Hapsburg dominions with the following mintmarks:

  • B = Kremnitz
  • C = Prague
  • E = Alba Julia or Karlsburg
  • F = Hall
  • G = Baia Mare or Nagybanya
  • H = Gunzburg
  • M = Milan

This type was struck 1792-1801 but no mint struck them every year. This is a common date.
