This specimen was lot 74086 in Stack's Bowers May 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $366. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIAN NETHERLANDS. Taler, 1795-C. Prague Mint. Franz II. PCGS AU-53." This type is listed for 1792-1800 in the SCWC under the Austrian Netherlands, which we regard as an error, as the type was struck throughout the Austrian empire. Prague was and is the captical of Bohemia.
