This specimen was lot 888 in Stephen Album internet sale 28 (Santa Rosa, CA, July 2024), where it sold for $54. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOHEMIA: Franz II, 1792-1806, AR 12 kreuzer, Prague, 1795-C, AU-UNC." Twelve kreuzer was one tenth of a convention thaler. This type was struck 1795 only at six mints. It is a rare case of duplicate cataloguing in the SCWC (Bohemia and Austria), but being struck all over the empire, we feel the Austrian listing is more accurate.
Recorded mintage: unknown but somwhat scarce.
Specification: 4.68 g, 0.250 fine silver.
Catalog reference: KM-829 (Bohemia), KM 2137 (Austria).
