This specimen was lot 3721 in Goldberg sale 69 (Los Angeles, May, 2012), where it sold for $1,207.50. The catalog description [2] noted, "Austria. Ducat, 1780-G/IB-IV. Joseph II, as co-ruler, 1765-1780. Laureate head right. Reverse: Double eagle. NGC graded MS-63." This type was struck 1768-80 and is fairly common tho less so that subsequent types. Several types exist for 1780.
