Künker sale 293, lot 1628

This specimen was lot 1628 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €260 (about US$351 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Maria Theresia, 1740-1780. Konv.-Taler 1751, Hall. Fast vorzüglich. Exemplar der Slg. Bernhard Terletzki. (Holy Roman Empire, Maria Theresia, 1740-80, convention thaler of 1751, Hall mint. about Very fine.)"

This convention thaler (28.06 g) was struck 1751-52, 1764-65, at Hall concurrent with a convention thaler of Francis I (Dav-1155) and a reichs thaler (28.82 g) of Maria Theresia (Dav-1120).
