This type was struck at Guanajuato 1826-68, with assayer PM listed for 1842-48. This specimen was lot 8156 in Ponterio sale 159 (Baltimore, March 2011), where it sold for $345. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Guanajuato. 1/2 Real, 1845/4-GoPM. NGC MS-64." The SCWC notes the overdate. This date is listed as common.

Specification: 1.69 g, 0.903 fine silver, .049 troy oz ASW.
