This specimen was lot 1665 in Roma Numismatics Ltd., E-Sale 75 (London, October 2020), where it sold for £100. The catalog description[1] noted, "Spain, Kingdom. Fernando VII AR 2 Reales. Madrid mint, 1812 IJ. • FERDIN • VII • DEI • GRATIA •, laureate and draped bust right; date below / HISPANIARUM • REX • , crowned coat-of-arms of Castille and Leon; denomination and mintmarks in fields. Very Fine. From a private English collection." This specimen was struck the year that Ferdinand was restored to the throne of Spain as French armies began their long retreat. The type was struck with this bust 1812-14 and is fairly common.
