This issue was struck 1832-41 while Poland was under Russian rule (1815-1918). Thirty groszy equaled fifteen kopeks or one zloty. As the ten zlotych was the crown size silver piece, this zloty is the closest thing to a dime issued under the Russian system. Russian coinage for Poland ended in 1841.
