This specimen was lot 71334 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2025), where it sold for $408. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 10 Centavos, 1893-Go R/G. Guanajuato Mint. NGC MS-65+. Finest of two examples graded by NGC. From the Kirk Menczer Collection of Republican Decimal Minors." The Guanajuato mint struck this silver ten centavos 1869-97 and its replacement with a redesigned eagle 1898-1900. The SCWC mentions a 1893/1 overdate but not this overassayer. Assayer R served 1885-1900.

Recorded mintage: 389,000, a common date.

Specification: 2.70 g, 0.903 fine silver, 18 mm diameter, reeded edge.
