Cuba 1916 10 centavos rev 600.jpg

This type was struck in the United States for Cuba 1915-20 and 1948-49 using silver dime blanks. Unlike the pesos, this denomination circulated extensively. This date is scarce. The catalog does not record the "low relief star" and "high relief star" varieties noted for the larger silver denominations.

Recorded mintage: 560,000 plus 50 proofs.

Specification: 2.5 g, 0.900 fine silver, .072 troy oz AGW, 17.8 mm diameter, reeded edge.

Catalog reference: KM A12.
