This specimen was lot 10255 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €900 (about US$938). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 2 Mark, 1668. Copenhagen Mint. Frederik III. NGC EF-45. Rare variation with flowers under monogram on obverse. From the L. E. Bruun Collection. Ex: Countship of Brahesminde Collection (Private Sale-1922). Ex: Alfred Benzon Collection (Copenhagen-1885/1888) Lot # 1428." This type was struck 1666-68. Another two mark struck in 1668 was KM 298, which lacks the mintmaster's initials and has the date on the left. Two mark was half a krone or one-third speciedaler.
