The first specimen was lot 1645 in Stephen Album sale 30 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2018), where it sold for $2,350. The catalog description[1] noted, "EGYPT: AR 5 pounds, 1994/AH1415, Philae temple, unlisted by KM, Proof, R." The second specimen was lot 1646 in Stephen Album sale 30 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2018), where it sold for $2,585. The catalog description[1] noted, "EGYPT: AR 5 pounds, 1994/AH1415, Khosru temple, unlisted by KM, Proof, R." The third specimen was lot 38117 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[2] noted, "EGYPT. 5 Pounds, AH 1415/1994. PCGS PROOF-69 Deep Cameo. Horus's Temple, Edfu." The fourth specimen was lot 38119 in the same sale, where it sold for $660. The catalog description[2] noted, "EGYPT. 5 Pounds, AH 1415/1994. PCGS PROOF-69 Deep Cameo. Temple of Luxor." The fifth specimen was lot 38121 in in the same sale, where it sold for $312. The catalog description[2] noted, "EGYPT. 5 Pounds, AH 1415/1994. PCGS PROOF-68 Deep Cameo. Temple of Hathor." The sixth specimen was lot 3642 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $90. The catalog description[3] noted, "EGYPT: Arab Republic, AR 5 pounds, 1994/AH1415, N-360809, Ancient Treasure Series, King Taharqa of Kush, an extraordinary example, NGC graded PF69 Ultra Cameo." These NCLT's are among dozens issued by the regime in 1994 and somehow the SCWC omitted them. We have borrowed the specification information from the similar KM 749 thru KM 757.
