This specimen was lot 32729 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $720. The catalog description[1] noted, "Republic gold Proof 50 Pounds AH 1415 (1994) PR69 Deep Cameo PCGS. Ancient seated scribe. A nearly perfect example of this low-mintage type of only 3,000 pieces."
